Our Philosophy

Lloyd Heard established Heard Video to fill a much needed void in the Gulf Coast Area. Quality in productions seemed to be almost non-existant. People were paying a lot of money for very little in return, and this made Lloyd mad.         Lloyd has been a television news photographer for over fifteeen years. He has worked for every major television network including CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, and Fox News. His video has won innumerable national awards for excellence, and he was most recently honored by being on the team who won a national emmy award in 2000. He has shot video of wars and scuffles, and weddings and births.
        His philosophy is that you only have one chance to get it right. The videographer has to have the experience when it counts. There are no second "takes" in real life, so he must be ready.
        His artistry in composition and design combine with his steadfast refusal to accept second best to produce extremely high quality finished productions. His style is that of a "fly on the wall." He is unobtrusive yet complete in his coverage.
        He uses the latest digital camera technology to ensure the highest quality video, then uses a digital editing system for absolutely no loss in quality. He discusses the ideas that his clients have with them, and does everything possible to ensure they get EXACTLY what they wanted and more.
        Lloyd is not the cheapest videographer in the Mobile area… and if cost is the primary concern, he will be glad to recommend another videographer that is more suited to a project.
        He feels that you get what you pay for, and in the case of video…you deserve the absolute best for the generations to come. After all, what other medium will allow your ancestors to see and feel what your wedding day was really like? Only video captures the complete essence of the day.
